Daniel Senise: Not Everything Has To Be About Something

80 min.  |   Portuguese   |   Brazil, 2020

In 2011, the artist Daniel Senise made in installation named 2892. It was made by two large white panels, enigmatically named White 2430 and White 462. On one side, bed sheets used in a motel (2430), on the other side bed sheets used in a hospital (462).

Besides visually exploring the piece, the camera also travels through spaces that 2892 refers to: motels and hospitals. From this immersion in the dimension between life-sexuality-death, the documentary evokes parallels with art and the artistic process.
